 What is GUSA?- Grove United Soccer Association(GUSA) was formed in the Spring of 2006 consisting of travel teams from the Buffalo Grove and the Long Grove Park Districts. For further information, please visit www.groveunitedsoccer.com.

What is a "Garry"?- Garry has continuously instilled in each player that soccer is a team game that requires players to work hard together while utilizing individual skills in a team environment in order for the team to excel. Sometimes the difference in a game may be the result of one or more individuals who step up while exemplifying those qualities and have an exceptional game resulting in a positive impact on their team mates and the game. The "Garry" award was designed to recognize those efforts. After each game, the coaches and Garry will determine if any player or players truly excelled for that game and should be recognized in this manner. The award is designed to recognize an exceptional performance and is in no way intended to diminish the efforts or contributions of each individual to the team.
